3 Ways to Get Kids to Stay Hydrated

I don’t know about you, but the fall for our family is a busy time of year! Sometimes, I find it hard to get my kids to drink water when we are constantly on the go. That’s why I’m so excited to team up with GoSili and share 3 of my favorite ways to get kids to stay hydrated during the Fall!

Make It Taste Good

Infused water is a fun way to make drinking water fun for the kids. Chop up some fruit and add them their water. Anything you have in the house from orange, lemon, lime, or strawberries will do. The choices are endless, and my kids absolutely love this! The choices are endless. I let me little ones choose what they want and then they can’t stop themselves from drinking it all up! It’s a great way to get them to drink more water during the day and make it taste good.

Make It Their Own

My kids have their own Gosili silicone reusable cups and they love them so much that they ask to bring their water everywhere with them! The Gosili cups are fun colors that even let them mix & match. I love them because they are the only silicon cup that will completely hold it’s shape. They are perfect for little hands and big squeezes. Made with 100% European grade platinum silicon with an embedded stainless-steel ring to prevent the cup from collapsing when grabbed, which my little ones do all of the time. The best part for us as food allergy family is that they aren’t plastic! We’ve been trying to avoid plastics at the recommendation of our allergist. GoSili is the perfect solution to make it their own!

Make It Accessible

One of the main reasons kids get dehydrated is because they don’t have water when they want it on hand. It’s a simple solution. I always make sure water cups are visible and easily accessible. I typically remind them wherever we go to take a sip of water too. A reusable water bottle that accompanies them on all outings is helpful for this. We love taking our GoSili cups along with us. They are also great because they are easy to clean (dishwasher safe)! We just throw them in at the end of the day and my kids have their favorite cups in the morning.
